Today’s guest philosopher is the great KRS-One. Despite the title, the classic Boogie Down Productions track “My Philosophy” doesn’t directly address questions of epistemology, ethics or metaphysics. But it says a whole lot, and you can’t deny the vocal stylings of KRS. In a few seconds, a philosopher will begin to speak …
Fresh for ’88, suckaz.

KRS One always was (and still is) a beast.

Great video to post! “By All Means Necessary” was/is a great album. Great sophomore effort. I like it even more than “Criminal Minded”. Summer of ’88 this was on my Walkman constantly (along with EPMD’s “Strictly Business”). And it’s still in the mix on my iTouch. I usually get a little KRS-One everyday.
Scott LaRock lives!
