LitKicks Poetry Happenings & Live Events
The LitKicks Poetry Karaoke Team met up at the Bowery Poetry Club in New York City on Feb 17th  to compete in the KPF series, a wild-and-crazy, long-running event hosted by poets Daniel Nester and Regie Cabico. Each participant read one poem and sang one song and had a lot of fun doing both.

We were up against some strong competition: the Painted Bride Quarterly from New Jersey.   Unfortunately, despite our valiant efforts, we were narrowly edged out by the PBQ crew.   But we will be back and better than ever to avenge this loss.   So stay tuned for your opportunity to join us again at Karaoke + Poetry = Fun, or as Levi Asher so eloquently stated:  Karaoke = Life.   Amen, brother Asher.

If you're ever in NYC on a Tuesday night and want to witness the wildest poetry + karaoke scene on earth, find more info here: KPF AT THE BOWERY!
